Low Fat Hummus

No Oil, DELICIOUS Hummus! Easy low fat hummus that just happens to be vegan. Possibly one of the simplest recipes on this channel, but super flavorful! The secret is PB Fit. Trust me, it will change your life.

What is Hummus? Hummus has been a staple in the Middle East, Mediterranean and North African regions for longer than written records have been kept. Egypt is considered to be the birthplace of the recipe, with each location putting it’s own spin to it. Hummus is traditionally a smooth and creamy puree of cooked chickpeas (garbanzo beans), tahini sesame paste and an acid, typically lemon juice. It is protein rich with inexpensive ingredients.

We have strayed from tradition, yet feel our lower fat version brings all the delightful flavor and dippable texture one can expect from a more traditional hummus. If you love hummus as much as we do, you will appreciate how easy it is to make. Your waistline will appreciate the lower fat. Enjoy!
