Do you miss spaghetti and meatballs on your plant based or vegan diet? Yeah, I did too, so I came up with a great tasting sauce, and a “meatball” recipe that’s super easy to put together.

Vegan Spaghetti and Meatballs



3/4 Cup Textured Vegetable Protein:

1 Tablespoon Pea Protein:

1 teaspoon Beet Root Powder:

2 Tablespoons Methyl Cellulose:

1 Tablespoon Nutritional Yeast:

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder:

1 teaspoon Onion Powder:

1 teaspoon Oregano:

1 Cup Warm Water

1 teaspoon Better than Bouillon No Beef Base:

1 Tablespoon White Wine Vinegar:

1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce:

(add more water, methyl cellulose or pea protein as needed to create the right consistency)


1 6 oz Can Tomato Paste:

1/2 28 oz Can Crushed Tomatoes:

1 Onion

1 Large Carrot

1 Celery Rib

5 Cloves Garlic

Pasta Water as Needed

1 Tablespoon Basil:

1 Tablespoon Thyme:

1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flake:

1 teaspoon Salt

1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
