No Oil, No Kneading – And Vegan

This is an excerpt from our upcoming Philly Cheesesteak video on how to make whole wheat sub rolls. This technique can be used to make rolls, loaves, even pizza and stromboli! It’s a very simple method of making whole wheat bread with no kneading and very few ingredients!

Vegan Whole Wheat Sub Rolls


225 grams (8oz) Whole Wheat Flour:

2 Tablespoons Vital Wheat Gluten:

1/2 teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Yeast:

210 grams (7/8 Cup) Water (you may need more as we did in this particular case)
