How to make an EASY Delicious VEGAN GYRO! This 100% plant based gyro is made with a seitan “meat” and even has tzatziki sauce! We have a link to that video a little further down this description. Additionally, once you’ve made the seitan, the rest of this recipe is easily kept in the fridge. Just imagine, you could subsequently have a VEGAN GYRO every day! But… without the guilt and all the pleasure!


1 Cup Vital Wheat Gluten:

1/4 Cup Chickpea Flour:

4 Cloves Garlic

1 teaspoon Oregano:

1 teaspoon Cumin:

1 teaspoon Marjoram:

1 teaspoon Rosemary:

1 teaspoon Thyme:

1 teaspoon Pepper

1 Tablespoon Tamari:

1 Tablespoon Red Miso:

1 Small Onion or 1/2 Large Onion

1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar:

3/4 Cup Water


Toppings of your choice (we selected shredded lettuce, onion slices and tomato slices)
